PocketShears™

| There are two styles of
PocketShears, the original, a hydraulically operated unit and the new
28v battery driven unit.
The hydraulically operated unit, the Model 501HC for 1/2" tendons and its counterpart, the Model 601HC for .6" tendons were developed during the late 1990's, improved during the early 2000's, and are still the proven workhorses for production tendon end finishing.
Although originally developed for unbonded monostrand markets, new innovations make them compatible with 4 and 5 strand flat duct systems. Proven, heavy duty designs, make these units the choice for many installers.
The new Models 501E and 6501E are completing field tests and the units are now going in production. A waiting list of customers will receive the first production run and we are accepting pre-production orders for our continuing production. Shipments will be made in the order of valid purchase dates with deposits.
These new models are perfect for repair and difficult access jobs and are therefore in great demand. They are exceptional for 4 and 5 strand flat duct systems and can fit into some multistrand systems. |
